Kinetic Community

Kinetic Community is a solution that has been created in partnership with MCRactive, and represents one of the most ambitious projects undertaken in the sport and physical activity sector in many years.

Kinetic Community eliminates the barriers that prevent people from finding and engaging in physical activity opportunities by proving a one-stop-shop website that is populated with data on hundreds of free and paid sessions, places, facilities, clubs and events that are added to the website directly by independent providers through our Providers Portal. Registered users have access to their own Member Hub that allows them to book activities, view their activity history, link third party fitness apps, and self report physical activity.

The participation and activity data generated by Kinetic Community will allow local government organisations and other stakeholders to truly understand how active the population is across multiple sectors.

Website and Activity Finder

The Kinetic Community website and activity finder module delivers a fully branded, industry leading website for your organisation that can be controlled and updated via a simple and intuitive content management system. This module has been specifically designed to eliminate the barriers preventing people from engaging in physical activity, and inspiring people to try new activities. Providers Portal

The Providers Portal module allows any approved provider to publish information relating to their organisation, activity sessions and events directly into your website and activity finder.

People that use your website are able to search for a specific activity or activity category (examples include family, school holiday, and community activities) and view sessions, places, facilities, clubs and events relevant to that activity search from all of the providers that have published their data using the Providers Portal. After selecting an activity, registered users are able to book a slot or save themselves a space safely and securely, directly with a provider.

The Providers Portal has a robust quality assurance framework designed to ensure that any provider that will feature on your website have sufficient procedures in place to ensure they are compliant to safeguard children and young people, and can deliver to vulnerable adults.

Participant App

The Participant App module provides participants with access to all of the functions available in via the website and Member Hub as well as the following features:

A Virtual membership card
Rewards for participation
Monthly challenges

Utilising the Participant App will also provide your organisation with a unique opportunity to capture data (steps, distance, elevation etc) that is captured via Apple Health or Google Fit (subject to user permission) on the users device. Geofencing technology can also be used to capture data about the places that participants are physically active and the type of activity undertaken in those places. Please note that the Participant App is still in development with a scheduled release date of early 2021.

Member Hub

The Member Hub module allows registered users to view their activity history, manage their bookings, personal data, and preferences from a secure web portal that is fully integrated into the website module.

Members are able to link the third party fitness apps that they use such as Strava and Fitbit so that the data captured via these apps is accessible and visible to a member when they look at their activity history. This data is combined with all of the participation data captured when a member attends sessions delivered by providers using the Provider App.

Providers App

The Providers App module allows providers that have added their activity sessions to the Providers Portal to view the number of bookings / reservations that they have for each session, and then capture attendance information via downloadable registers. After each session, participants are sent an email to capture feedback about the session that they have attended, and are given the opportunity to opt into provider specific marketing preferences.

All participation data captured from provider sessions is linked to each individual participant so that Kinetic can combine this with any self reported physical activity and leisure centre participation data, in order to provide the most robust and reliable data about how active individuals are within a specific geographic area.

Kinetic Courses

Kinetic Courses has been designed to simplify the management and delivery of all types of sports courses including swimming, gymnastics, dance, martial arts, rugby, cricket and football for independent organisations, franchises, and multi site leisure operators.

Kinetic Courses allows organisations to automate payments, reduce admin, increase retention, make bookings, communicate with members, and remove their reliance on paper based records – all via a simple and intuitive web portal.

Attendance and attainment data can be captured by deliverers using the Kinetic Courses Deliverer App and this data is synchronised at the end of each lesson so that parents are able to review the progress of their child in real time.

Online Booking

All Kinetic Courses customers are able to receive online bookings for their sports courses via our simple and intuitive online booking system that can be customised to match the branding of your organisation. For an example of a swim school booking system, please click here.

Your customers can search for appropriate courses for single or multiple participants based on their preferred day, time, venue and ability level. After finding a course that is appropriate for them, your customers can see real time availability for all courses, which can be booked immediately by creating an account, providing personal information, and processing a payment via a debit or credit card. The cost of your courses can be configured via the Kinetic Courses Control Centre where you can define your own billing periods, initial and ongoing costs.

Control Centre

Kinetic Courses Control Centre is an online portal that will allow you to oversee and manage all aspects of your sports course operation including bookings, scheduling, memberships, payments, member database, member communication, and waiting lists. Using Kinetic Courses Control Centre will provide you with significant efficiency savings across all aspects of your business.

Deliverer App

The Kinetic Courses Teacher App provides all of the tools required to maximise the time you spend teaching. Course attendance is taken at the start of each lesson in seconds, and then teachers are able to record and track the progress of your members across your own custom award scheme from single or multiple sports. Teachers can synchronise their registers and skills progression at the end of each lesson and this information can be viewed by the participant or their parents via their Parent Portal account.

Parent Portal

The Kinetic Courses Parent Portal is a GDPR compliant online portal that will allow you to connect directly with your members. Parents are able to login securely to make payments, view their bookings, and track the progress that their children are making after their lesson each week.

Kinetic Leisure

Kinetic Leisure is a new online Leisure Management Solution that is currently under development with a planned launch early in 2021.
